Falling in Love.

Duckie has given us another week of prompts.
As the weather has been so nice a lot of time has been spent in Mrs N’s garden so his prompts this week all have something to do with gardening
Every garden may have some weeds.
Well Shirley’s garden certainly had a lot of weeds in it but thanks to Colin and a little help from me they have nearly all gone now. Let’s get down and dirty.
After all that weeding I needed a rest and found this pile of dirty pots to sit on.
You should compost because a rind is a terrible thing to waste.
I had a look inside Shirley’s compost bin last week so this week I thought I would have a look and see what comes out the other end. Well it all looked rather dirty inside but the little door was great to have a slide on.
I never promised you a rose garden.
No Rose garden here but we do have a great water garden, glad I had my boots on.
Scatter seeds of happiness.
Today I thought I would find out a bit more about this gardening lark and joined a gardener's forum.
I am so happy, I met someone really special there and she lives just a few miles away.
A thing of beauty is a joy forever.
Need I say more Pip is beautiful, cute and pink.
I have changed my mind about the colour pink now I think it is the best colour ever.
There is never enough thyme.
I thought this photo of a slow snail taking his time to crawl over my boot would be a great one for today’s prompt, until Shirley told me that thyme is a herb and nothing to do with clocks ticking. However, I have decided to use it anyway as I have an important date and no time to take another photo!
Can you tell I am really excited?

Recovering from my Extreme sport video clip!

Monkey set the prompts for us this week and he really did challenge us especially with his last prompt:
There are signs of spring starting to show, go outside and see what you can find.
Well I managed to find some lovely crocus flowers and inside was a bee. Shirley told me I was lucky to see a bee as they are getting scarce and in some places their hives are very poorly!

Saturday night is DVD night in our house. What is your favourite film and why?
I found this DVD that Shirley has had since Christmas and has not watched yet!!!
I am hoping to see it very soon and then I will know if it is my favourite!
Today's is Mothering Sunday. Give your mum/owner/carer a big hug today and show us how much you love her. We went out for a lovely family meal and whilst we were there Abbie took this photo of me when I was giving Shirley a hug.Liam loves space and he has been teaching me about it. What planet would you most like to visit and why?
I looked out of the window last night and saw lots of stars and planets in the sky.
I checked in Colin's book today and I think I have found a planet I would most like to visit. It is MARS and I would love to go to a planet that is named after one of favourite chocolate bars. LOL.
Joe's mummy helps out at Liam's school on a Tuesday afternoon. What is your favourite children's game or activity, and why?
I love to play big card Scrabble because it helps me with my spelling.
Today is recycling day here, and Joe's mummy has trained our house well. What have you recycled today?
Apparently this bin is called a compost bin and inside it is very dirty. Colin was out in the garden today and he kept feeding this bin with all sorts of things!
No week is complete without a bit of extreme sporting. Try something extreme today and tell me how you got on - it might give me some new ideas to try! If you can post a little video of your activity that would be brilliant!
This was very hard for me to do because I kept getting mixed up with the elastic band!

I hope you liked the video.

Finishing my prompt week.

“Today was good. Today was fun. Tomorrow is another one.”
Not tomorrow exactly but I thought I would give you all advance warning when my birthday is going to be and the Cat helped me!

“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.”
I keep reading these books hoping that one day I will get to go somewhere on holiday.

I have now finished doing all my prompts for the week. I wonder what Monkey will send through to me for next week.

The Cat and I went up high today that's for sure!!!

Be back soon.

Hanging around a lot.

Here are another couple of quotes from Dr Suess :
“I like nonsense; it wakes up the brain cells.”
Well here I am reading some nonsense and trying to wake up my brain cells!
I saw some ladies sitting under machines like this one the other day, I think they were all trying to wake up their brain cells too.

“Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you.”
I was a bit hyperactive after waking up my brain cells, so I thought I would go on an exploring mission and swing around a bit.
First the dining room light fitting!
Then this parrot that seems to hang around in the conservatory and do nothing!
The light out side the front door was a bit high up but I got there!
The rotary dryer, not too sure what goes on this but it is lovely and whizzes around.
Then I thought I would climb up the shrub by the nature pond.It was a bit difficult and the twigs were very brittle.
In fact they were so brittle that one broke and I ended up falling on to the pond. Luckily I did not get wet because it was still frozen over with ice.It was very hard though and I now have a very sore arm!
Hopefully it will be better soon. Shirley says I have not broken it but has told me I need to rest it for a day or two. I just think she wants me to keep still for a while!!!

Hiding amongst the ducks.

When I chose this quote I was definately thinking of Duckie.

“Just tell yourself, Duckie, you're really quite lucky.”
I can not remember this photo being taken though!!!

I think Shirley might have been playing with photoshop on the computer.

Setting this weeks prompts.

Shirley told me that it was World book day yesterday and I love to read books.
Some of my favourite books are written by Dr Suess.
So this week it is my turn to set the prompts for the toys.
I have given them 7 quotes from some of his books.
We can do them in any order and interpret them however we like because nothing is too wild or whacky, just like me!
The first quote I am using today is:
“From there to here, and here to there, funny things are everywhere.”
This is the funny thing that happened to me that inspired me to use Dr Suess quotes this week. I was sitting reading one of my Cat in the Hat books when suddenly out of the page popped ‘The Cat.’He then smiled at me and came and sat beside me.
How cool is that!
Now we are best friends. I will be back tomorrow guys.

Answering Koala's questions.

Koala is asking us a whole load of questions this week.
So here goes with the answers.

What crafting embellishment best reflects your personality?
Well I think I am bright and sparkly so 'Bling' definately reflects my personality!

I often hear Paula say that she likes to ‘stroke’ her stash, do you ever get a chance to ‘stroke’ any stash?
Not only do I get to stroke but I love to get right in there with it!

You will have noticed that your ‘carers’ scrapbook and into crafting, what craft tool do you most like to use?
You may remember that Shirley got her PINK cuttlebug the other week. Well I love to play with that.
Well until today when this happened!!!!

You may recall that when I introduced myself I told you that I was called Bongo because that was the name on the label on my bottom and I was too shy to show you, well Shirley grabbed this shot before I could stop her.
She really is a pain with that camera sometimes!
Do you have your own mode of transport at home?
I think Pamela may have a car!!

I do have my own mode of transport and boy do I look a cool dude around the neighbourhood.
Shirley says I should really wear a helmet at the speeds I travel but I am having a job finding one to fit one to fit!
See I told you I went fast!
Try and find an unusual mode of transport today?
I searched all over the place for something unusual to ride on and nearly gave up until I remembered that Abbie had a stable full of horses.
I even managed to jump a few fences but Shirley was so slow with the camera she missed the shot!
Today have a group hug if you can!! Or hug your family.
Oh boy did I have a great day out.
I met up with most of the toys and we had lots of fun and many group hugs.
This shot of us all riding in Shirley's Hotdog carton (it was a massive hotdog) was great to do.
I certainly consider these guys my family now.
What is your favourite/usual mode of transport if and when you go out?
To be honest I do not usually have much say in the matter.
I am normally stuffed in my plastic bag and put in Shirley's handbag, luckily I was allowed out for air whilst Shirley took this photo.
Next week it is my turn to put up some prompts for the toys so I am having to think very hard at the moment.
Come back soon and see what I come up with.
